AFV'S Hit the table!

Finally finished off the Armourfast & Airfix kits last night so here's a few shots of them on the table for those who've been kind enough to follow this little project........ Hope you enjoy!

These are the first of my planned AFV collection and next on the 'to buy' list is a couple of British Cromwells.

Armourfast / Airfix AFV's .. Almost there!

After spending a couple more hours on the AFV's they at last are nearing completion. Following a wash with diluted black acrylic and being allowed to dry I drybrushed  the models in a lighter shade of their original base coat colour.......

So far I'm quite pleased with the results (I'm never 100% happy with anything I paint!) I've still a bit of work to do on the tracks and wheel sections but they're almost there.

Armourfast kits: A bit more progress

This evening I spent a couple of hours completing the block colours on the German AFV's. Tomoorow it'll be time to give them a wash over prior to dry brushing and highlighting ........

I'm looking forward to getting these and the British Churchill finished up and to giving them an outing on the table.

The next question is to base or not to base?
