AFV'S Hit the table!

Finally finished off the Armourfast & Airfix kits last night so here's a few shots of them on the table for those who've been kind enough to follow this little project........ Hope you enjoy!

These are the first of my planned AFV collection and next on the 'to buy' list is a couple of British Cromwells.

Hope these past few posts have been of some use to others out there and as always please feel free to pass comment.

Cheers,
Steve

  1. Now that looks good - with regard to Cromwells, both the Armourfast and Airfix offerings have their strengths - just don't put both manufacturers in the same troop unless you're prepared to bulk-up the Airfix kit with stowage

  2. Cheers Andy. I think I will be taking the Armourfast option with the Cromwells. The Airfix Churchill has scarred me for life!

  3. Yes those bl**dy wheels! However, the Airfix Cromwell has a rather nifty one-piece track which makes life much simpler. Also comes with a wading kit (I've put mine on my D-Day Shermans - I have too many Shermans, I recognise this and yet still acquire more, I've given up trying to understand this)

  4. I'm the same with German AFV's Andy. With all good intentions I go to buy British / Allied tanks and end up getting more Panzers!

  5. Nice looking tanks - love the late-war German camo. Best, Dean
